Overview
The Wild River Gas Plant is part of Repsol’s Greater Edson gas production plants. Having completed a feasibility study, Magna IV Engineering was engaged to complete upgrades to the primary power generator control system. The desired outcome was to solve start up, synchronization and load sharing challenges experienced on site.
Scope
Magna IV Engineering was responsible to upgrade the existing Woodward and PLC-based generator control system with a simplified solution from ComAp.
