Since joining Magna IV Engineering in 2006 as a Field Service Technologist, Virginia has continually demonstrated her commitment to excellence and safety in the electrical industry. Her journey from a Field Service Technologist to achieving a NETA level 4 Senior Technician certification underscores her unwavering dedication to professional development and mastery in her field.


As a Certified Engineering Technologist through ASET, The Association of Science & Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta, Virginia, upholds the highest standards of professionalism and competence. Her active involvement in industry standards and best practices, including her role as Vice-Chair of CSA Z462 – Workplace Electrical Safety and membership in the NFPA 70E – Electrical Safety in the Workplace technical committee, highlights her commitment to advancing safety standards.


Virginia's contributions extend beyond her role at Magna IV Engineering. As a NETA Board member and active participant in various NETA committees, she plays a crucial role in shaping industry standards and driving innovation. Additionally, her representation of NETA on the ASTM F18 committee underscores her dedication to fostering collaboration and advancing industry practices.
