We are a NETA (International Electrical Testing Association) accredited company that offers an array of engineering solutions and technical field services for Electrical infrastructure and facilities. We provide services across all market sectors where electrical and control systems are used.
This position reports to the Operations Director in Tipp City. The project manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed within a defined time and within budget. They will be skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects that they oversee.
Accountabilities
Assist in the creation of comprehensive project documentation/detailed project plan to track progress
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Coordinate and ensure resource availability/allocation for the flawless execution of projects
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk assessment/management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Report and escalate to management as needed
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
3+ years' experience as project manager and/or Industrial Electrical experience
Safety mindset; The strictest adherence to all safety codes and procedures
Solid technical background with hands-on experience in the Commercial/Industrial electrical field and MV electrical experience
Ability to self-manage with proven initiative and client focus
Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office applications
Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent time management skills with an attention to detail
Team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
A positive, “can-do” attitude
Extremely flexible and willing to work on many concurring projects and deliverables at once
Drive for continuous self-improvement and learning
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in technology from an accredited 2-year technical college
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
REQUIREMENTS:
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and reference check.
Have a current valid driver's license and able to maintain a safe driving record.
Must be willing to work flexible hours at times plus travel overnight
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, stand for long periods of time
