Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator within our Edmonton team. This temporary position will support ongoing projects out in Alberta. Reporting to the Lead Operations Administrator, the successful candidate will be accountable for supporting and assisting the project team with various administrative duties to ensure a superior client experience is provided to client.

This role will be field based and travel will be required to remote sites. No specific work shift has been determined yet, but it can be expected that the successful candidate would be spending up to 14 days out of town.

Accountabilities

The accountabilities of this Administrator position fall under two primary areas of support, with typical tasks as outlined below:


Project Specific Administrative Support

  • Assist with daily permitting

  • Assist with compilation and organization of data received from field workers and in-office design staff.

  • Work closely with the Project Manager Lead in order to complete administrative duties as required.

  • Assist with data compilation for monthly invoicing requirements.

  • Preparation of Daily costing reports

  • Coordinating logistics for workers moving onto and off of site

  • Preparation of monthly project costing and WIP reports.

  • Preparation and upkeep of monthly project tracking reports for review by the Project Manager and Design Lead.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2- 5 years of administrative experience

  • Experience working in an Engineering, Field Services, or other professional environment would be a definite asset

  • Document Control experience is an asset

  • Advanced computer experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications

  • Advanced experience with Bluebeam and Adobe

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail mandatory

  • Strong writing and editing skills

  • Strong organizational skills to maintain project working directories and email correspondence

  • Strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Must be able to work in a dynamic work environment

  • Must be able to work at repetitive tasks

  • Must be able to deal with sensitive and confidential matters

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Personable and approachable individual with a positive approach to change

  • Professional team player with excellent communication skills: both written and verbal

  • Technical writing skills is an asset

  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and client focused approach
