Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator in our Calgary office as part of the Technical Field Services team. The Project Coordinator will be accountable for supporting the Technical Field team with project proposals, resource scheduling, report preparation, and financial duties; providing exceptional client service through the completion of Field Services projects.



Accountabilities

ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Project Coordinator / Site Support

  • Support the Operations on all project matters such as proposals, logistics, invoicing, and reporting

  • Assist Client Managers with resource scheduling and project timelines

  • Prepare technical reports and job packages

  • Participate in project planning and pre/post project support for the operations

  • Assist with project logistics and administration when needed

  • Interface with finance department and field operations to complete project invoicing and other project related finance items

  • Assist on site when required.

  • Create Turnover Packages for review by Site Management

  • Review documentation for grammar and formatting errors

  • Pick up parts from various locations

  • Create and manage equipment tracking logs for equipment on-site

  • Manage all records and reports in an organized manner on both electronic and hard copy

  • Daily submission preparation including progress report, LEM’s, work force reports, and safety statistics

  • Use Microsoft Office to manage records

  • Compile weekly safety stats reporting

  • Organize and file site safety forms

  • Organize individual employee information such as flights, safety certificates, etc.

Tool Crib Coordinator


  • Log test equipment in/out of an asset management program

  • Maintain records on the usage of and status of tool crib equipment

  • Inspect, clean and test electrical tools and testing sets for defects

  • Report and track damaged equipment

  • Load and unload electrical equipment

  • Manage scheduling of Magna vehicles, rental vehicles, and equipment

  • Complete billing documentation and submit invoices to accounting as required

  • Order equipment from vendors and complete all necessary documentation

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the tool crib to ensure a safe and productive workplace

  • Clean fleet vehicles when time allows

  • Complete pick up and deliveries within the Alberta area when required

  • Mark tool crib items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment

  • Provide assistance or direction to other regional stockrooms, warehouses, or storage workers

  • Assist with Shipping & Receiving

  • Assist with other duties around the Calgary shop as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS


  • Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma/ Electrical Engineering Degree or administrative diploma or degree equivalent would be an asset

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with technical report writing and quotations would be an asset

  • Strong attention to detail with outstanding grammar skills

  • Possesses a positive attitude, is highly self-motivated, energetic, passionate and reliable

  • Ability to multi-task, exercise good judgment and prioritize workload through outstanding organizational skills

  • Dedicated to providing exceptional client experiences to our internal and external clients

  • Construction Projects experience an asset

  • Engineering or Field Services environment experience an asset

  • Class 5 Drivers License
