We have an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented, results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team in Canada. We are seeking an individual with long term career aspirations in Marketing, CRM, Social Media, Event Planning & Management, Web Management and Design and public media with IT, Design, Graphics, Websavvy, Internet with strong teamwork and organizational skills. The candidate will be accountable to support Magna IV, PSG and the marketing team’s initiatives as Magna continues to grow in Canada, the USA, Chile, North and South America. The ideal candidate is a natural collaborator and self-starter with great positive energy and attitude with a strong work ethic.
Accountabilities
Utilizing software and technology, wherever at all possible, continuously collaborate seamlessly with Sales, Operations and internal cross functional stakeholders or Teams. Coordinate participation in business and industry events. Assist in the development of content and marketing materials, ensuring consistent branding and voice, including project stories, blog and social media posts, personnel resumes and aid with client prequalification packages along with additional marketing related tasks, as required.
Social Media Communications
Work with the operations stakeholders to plan regular releases with integrated web content, project stories, news announcements, and internal or industry events
Assist in encouraging and curating content from internal sources
Gather technical content from key stakeholders and experts
Monitor and triage client responses and feedback to related internal stakeholders
Web Content, Design and Development
Develop, manage and contribute to website content updates, such as project stories and news posts
Project Story Development
Work with marketing and operations teams to identify projects to showcase
Initiate and continuously follow up with Client Managers and other stakeholders
Create and publish project stories internally and externally across a variety of mediums including documents, web and social media
Industry Event Administration
Coordinate administrative aspects of tradeshows and events such as open houses, client appreciation events, etc.
Marketing Materials
Contribute to content writing of brochures and other client-facing materials
Manage or facilitate the distribution of brochures, promotional gifts, other printed materials to our operations teams
Administer business card requests and order fulfillment
Internal Communications
Support internal communications initiatives such as company wide communication of business updates, newsletters and events
Plus, assist with managing or maintaining third party risk provider accounts (ISN, Avetta, etc.) in Client Prequalification Activities (to aid or support this role and function)
Monitor and manage Magna’s third party risk provider accounts, including ISNet and Avetta
Work with Client Managers, the marketing team members and other stakeholders to complete requests for prequalification
Required Skills and Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in a marketing role in a corporate enviornment
Post-secondary degree related to marketing or communications would be an asset
Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Marketing content writing experience
Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Highly detail-oriented and resourceful
Ability to work under pressure, solve problems, meet deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects while maintaining a high level of quality
Strong project management, planning and problems-solving skills
A positive, “can-do” attitude and client-focused approach
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
Excellent networking and relationship skills with demonstrated client management skills
Social media savvy
Experience working with Social Media for B2B communications is an asset
Project management experience
Deep understanding of Microsoft Office 365 Applications
Knowledge of SharePoint is an asset
Experience with web content management applications (WIX, Wordpress, etc.)
Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite for content development would be an asset (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator)
An artistic side would be an asset (Photography, graphic design etc.)
